Hi, my name is Betty. I’m married to Bob and we have five wonderful children. Twenty years ago we started on one of the greatest adventures of our lives, homeschooling our children. We started with one little boy and a workbook. Two decades later, we stand amazed at how such a simple decision to leave traditional school behind could radically change the lives of one family so completely and wondrously. Today, three of our five children have “graduated” from our home school, while two still have a ways to go. Six of us (my oldest daughter is married and lives nearby) live on an 8-acre hobby farm in the Lexington, KY area. We are the proud owners of two alpacas, one llama, six chickens, two cats, a pig, and a very naughty dog, named Boomer.
